For the Community - By the Community
Barbon + Middleton
Who is doing all this work?
We are a small group of local volunteers who agreed together to install B4RN Gigabit fibre optic broadband to every property in Barbon + Middleton. We thought it was the right thing to do, to help our community have 21st-century communications so that we are 'future proofed'. We started in March 2016 and plan to finish In 2018.
B4RN is VERY FAST - 1,000 Mbps Upload and Download - plus a Ping (bounce back signal to Manchester) of just 2ms.
Importantly you will never need to worry about your broadband capability for latest generation TV systems, new PCs or Macs, Voice over Internet (VoIP) telephones - all through direct Ethernet cable connection or Homeplugs within the home. WIFI also is fully catered for - you will have enough bandwidth for all your latest mobile devices, even if you are a large family using many mobile devices.
Why should rural areas always get the 'worst broadband connectivity'? No Longer!
This is the B4RN Welcome Pack + Contract guide you will need to sign-up for fibre connection and monthly service - ask our volunteers what to do
This is the B4RN Barbon + Middleton list of local contractors for your property boundary to house wall installation - if you cannot do it yourself
